Cultural Differences in Business Negotiations
The lack of cultural awareness in international business contacts as well as obliviousness to it can not only conduce embarrassment and misunderstanding but finally incur financial loss. Cultural differences awareness and adjustment to cultural background of a business partner are the key to success in the contacts with foreign business entities.
‘Cultural Differences in Business Negotiations’ project is to meet the necessity of increasing cultural awareness in business contacts and to teach SMEs’ representatives how to interpret and level out cultural differences in international business contacts. It is an open nationwide project to improve the business negotiations of SMEs at the international markets level. All the suggested actions of the project will be addressed to the employees of all SMEs in foreign trade areas.
