The Cracovitalia Foundation arose out of a passion for living, mutual cultural contacts between Poland and Europe, and also other countries which have their roots in Mediterranean culture. The germ of the idea for the Foundation was a stronger and clearer marking out of the presence of Poland in Europe. We will create a space in which the individual socio-cultural events which have cropped up to date will take on the character of a constant, almost everyday presence. The Foundation will encompass all fields of artistic creativity, as well as the social activity of those individuals and institutions for whom a Polish-European dialogue is a source of inspiration and enthusiasm. We hope that the content and rhythm of this dialogue will emerge emphatically in our aims and, above all else, in the achievements of the Foundation.
To achieve these aims we are open to all propositions, initiatives and offers of cooperation in the projects we are designing, as well as in the individual undertakings of institutions and private individuals.
